Fender American Traditional Telecaster

My very first own, Fender Telecaster. Bought somewhere 2000's for around say, USD$500-700. I know it wasn't meant to come along with a hardcase but the guitar store gave me a Gator case with it & a pedal, Boss's X-Tortion (i hate it and sold it off). It's kinda hard to do some research on this model. If there's someone, who knew on the details, well, do let me know. Serial number starts from N 9 + 5 digits. It could be 1990 0r 1999 as N 9 + 5 or 6 as 1999.

On the headstock does indicate that it was made in the US. It came with a small decal says, American Traditional. Maple neck, poplar body. Colour, Midnight Wine. Topload six saddle bridge. Weight, wow...it's heavier than American Standard (Series).

So far as i know, it was meant for exports. Europe, Australia, N.Z & other part of Asia.
As i dig more on other guitar's forum regarding this, it was like, from the US, shipped to Mexico, back again to the States for completion, then off it goes as export models. Some say it came with lower grades hardware. So far at that time, the sound was good. Less twang and darker tone on the neck pickup. It has been used in the studio work too.

After a few years, i've changed the stock pickups to Lace Sensor. Changed the pots (500k), switch & knobs too (Dome). But now, i've decided to put back some Fender's pickup again. Most probably i'll go for Original Vintage pups. Again, changed the pots (250k) & knobs.

Again, the guitar has it's own magic & characteristic. Totally different than the one i owned later, an American Series.

current in mind

clean..clean..cleannnnnn!!

another DL4? hmmmm, why not.

not a must, but it does the job what it supposed to...

aaahhhh...this has been in my mind since my last Telecaster.

why all this? "sukaaaaa la!"

...she's gonna kill me for sure. hahahahahah!

ya, it's 2011.

it's been awhile i didn't post anything. too much thing to be written and be to shared since my last post back in 2010. been busy with my own work and family i guess. to those who are dear to me, you're not been forgotten. no, you're not been deleted. if i were to write a book, it could be as thick as The Bible with crappy writings & stories anyway.

now, wide-awake for the past 9 hours. Matt had a fever, yet he could still smile as he saw me last night. a hyper-active young Tiger. i just wonder, what on earth they've been mixing into the Formulated Milk.

listening to Mogwai now. their latest & 7th album. not bad. "Hardcore will never die, but you will"

no way am gonna be a Pelikat Man. well, i gotta be honest about it.

care to share?

..unless you're tone deaf
